2023-2024 SLT GOALS

PRIORITY 1 – ALL STUDENTS LEARN TO READ WELL

By June, 2024, for All Students in Grades K-2, will Increase 20 percentage points, from 46% to 66% on or above grade-level, as measured by the Acadience Reading Composite Score.

PRIORITY 2 – ALL STUDENTS ARE PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY SAFE

By June, 2024, for All Students in grades 3-5 will Decrease 20 percentage points, from 65 to 45, for the highest stress level, as measured by Intellispark Resiliency Social-Emotional Assessment

PRIORITY 3 – ALL STUDENTS HAVE A HIGH-QUALITY ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

By June, 2024, for All Students in grade 3-5 will Increase 20 percentage points, from 39 to 59 in Tier I (of 3) in Valuing Education and Academic Confidence, as measured by Resiliency Assessment

PRIORITY 4 – ALL STUDENTS GRADUATE COLLEGE AND CAREER READY AND HAVE A STRONG PLAN AND PATHWAY TO ECONOMIC SECURITY

By June, 2024, for All Students will Increase 85 percentage points, from 10% to 95%, direct interactions (5) with professionals from outside of school staff discussing careers and pathways, as measured by program attendance

PRIORITY 5 – ALL DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS ARE MORE INCLUSIVE AND RESPONSIVE FOR PARENTS AND FAMILIES, INCLUDING HAVING MORE FAMILIES CHOOSE NYC PUBLIC SCHOOLS

By June, 2024, for All Students (non-Hispanic, Non-Bangla) will Increase 15, from 100 to 115, as measured by ATS register By June, 2024, attendance to at least three non-academic school events for families of All Students new to P. S. 182 will Increase 50 percentage points, from 20 to 70, as measured by Event Attendance

CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM

By June, 2024, the aggregate percentage of students severely-chronically absent and chronically absent in grades one through five will decrease 17 percentage points, from 37% (9% severe, 28% chronic) to 20%, as measured by absences in the New Visions Portal

QUALITY INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PROGRAM (IEP)

By June, 2024, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for All Students with Disabilities (SWD), we will improve identification of Specially-Designed Instruction (SDI) in IEPs by an Increase 40 percentage points, from 50% to 90%, as measured by IEP Management Dashboard
